Food & Water Watch

Safe Food; Clean Water; Healthy Oceans; Public Control of Essential Resources. Food & Water Watch challenges the corporate control and abuse of our food and water resources by empowering people to take action and by transforming the public consciousness about what we eat and drink.

Community Taking Back the TapBottled water is out. Drink to your health, your wallet, and the environment and stick to tap water. Go with the flow and join smart communities, restaurants, films, campuses, events, and cities across the nation that are proudly taking back the tap by pledging to choose tap water whenever possible.  It's easy -  get a filter for your home or business and buy a stainless steel bottle to conveniently refill with tap water on the go. Still not sure? Read our report or watch a documentary and you will be.

Milk BottlesLast year, melamine in pet food was found to be the cause of death and illness in scores of cats and dogs across North America. It began this year with baby formula sickening and even killing babies in China. Last month, it was discovered in cookies in Connecticut and chocolate in the UK. Now, you can add eggs in Hong Kong to the growing list of contaminated foods.  The FDA has finally banned dairy products from China...for now. Stay tuned to Food & Water Watch for the latest.
